The client
Chatsimple (now Expertise AI) is a B2B SaaS startup based in Toronto, Canada. The company provides AI chatbot and AI agent software to automate website sales, lead generation, and customer support.
As a new startup, they needed to reach their target audience, promote their software, build trust, and drive more signups. SEO-focused content marketing was a smart strategy to achieve these goals.
The challenge
Since Chatsimple had just started, their organic traffic was low.
In December 2024, they were getting around 4.6k organic visits per month, but much of this traffic was not relevant to their product.
Despite having a high-quality offering, they were not ranking well for important keywords. This limited their visibility and reduced their chances of converting the right audience.
They needed a good content strategy to attract the right visitors, improve rankings, and turn traffic into software signups.
What I did
I started by using Chatsimple’s AI chatbot on my website to understand how it worked. Then I studied their target audience: their pain points, goals, and needs.
Next, I focused on improving their organic traffic:
- Created a content strategy that aligned with the latest SEO and content marketing trends.
- Audited and updated past blog posts to keep them fresh and increase their rankings.
- Identified high-intent keywords using Semrush to target the right audience.
- Wrote engaging, original, and well-researched blog posts packed with value.
- Kept an eye on industry trends to identify hot topics and create content that would gain traction.
- Followed SEO best practices, including Google’s EEAT, content quality, internal linking, readability, linking authoritative sources, relevant ALT text, natural keyword placement, compelling headlines, and optimized meta descriptions.
- Analyzed Chatsimple’s competitors to understand their strategies and traffic sources, then used those insights to refine our approach.
- Handled everything from content ideas to visuals to keep the process simple for the client.

The Result
We achieved the following results (based on Google Search Console data):
1. 513% increase in organic traffic: from 4.6k visits (Dec 2024) to 28.2k visits (Mar 2025).
2. Higher brand visibility: monthly impressions grew from 300k to 758k.

3. Better click-through rate (CTR): improved from 1.5% to 3.7%, showing stronger titles and descriptions.
4. First-page rankings for high-intent keywords: including “B2B chatbot,” “CRM chatbot,” “AI sales chatbot,” “chatbot for dropshipping,” and “agentic AI in sales.” These keywords bring more qualified leads.

5. Strong keyword growth: ranked in the top 3 for 268+ keywords and on the first page for 660+ keywords.

6. Increased AI visibility: appeared in Google AI Overviews and ranked on platforms like ChatGPT Search and Perplexity, driving additional qualified traffic.
